WiFi Issue: TV does not connect to the WiFi? Model E4SFT5517/E4SW5517/ ELST3216H/ ELST5016S/E2SW5018/ ELST4017/ELST4316S

Please follow the below procedures if the TV is not connecting to the Internet/WiFi for Model (E4SFT5517/E4SW5517/ ELST3216H/ ELST5016S/E2SW5018/ ELST4017/ELST4316S)

Things to Check…

  • Download the RouteThis Helps app on your smartphone or tablet. Run a network scan to diagnose why the TV is unable to connect to WiFi and follow the troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Click here to download the app.
  • Make sure the WiFi Connection is functional
  • The WIFI Modem/Router should be located within 10-15 Feet from the Television
  • Check if other devices such as Cell Phone, Laptop connected to the same WiFi are functional

If they are, please follow the below steps…

  1. Press MENU button on the TV Remote Control to display the main interface, use the Arrow buttons to highlight TV SETTINGS and press OK to Then Use the Arrow buttons to select NETWORK to enter and adjust each option setting.
  2. Select the option Wireless network, TV will display the available wireless network you are trying to connect
  3. Select the preferred WiFi Network and continue connecting the TV to the WiFi 

IF the TV fails to connect to the WiFi then it is advisable that you reset the TV by following the below procedure…

  1. Press the Menu Button once on your TV Remote followed by the number zero five times. This will display the factory settings page 
  2. Under the factory settings you will an option called RESET or FACTORY RESET. Highlight RESET OR FACTORY RESET and press the OK button
  3. TV will display an on-screen message stating are you sure to reset YES or NO. Highlight Yes and push the OK button on your TV remote
  4.  The TV will restart in a few seconds. If it doesn’t, power on the TV using the Remote Control or manually. Once the TV is ON, follow the below procedure to reconnect the TV to the WiFi…
  • Press MENU to display the main interface, use the Arrow buttons to highlight TV SETTINGS and press OK to Then Use the Arrow buttons to select NETWORK to enter and adjust each option setting.
  • Select the option Wireless network, TV will display the available wireless network you are trying to connect. Select the preferred WiFi Network and try connecting the TV to the WiFi
