WiFi Issue: TV does not connect to the Internet/WiFi?

Please follow the below procedure to connect the TV to the Internet/WiFi.

Things to Check…

  • Download the RouteThis Helps app on your smartphone or tablet. Run a network scan to diagnose why the TV is unable to connect to WiFi and follow the troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Click here to download the app. 
  • Make sure the WiFi Connection is functional
  • The WIFI Modem/Router should be located within 10-15 Feet from the Television
  • Check if other devices such as Cell Phone, Laptop connected to the same WiFi are functional

If they are, please follow the below steps…

  1. After you select Set up for home use, the TV prompts you to make a network connection. If your TV has both wired and wireless connections, you’ll see the following screen.
  2. Highlight Set up new wireless connection and press OK. The TV prompts you through wireless setup
  3. TV will display the available wireless network. Select the preferred WiFi Network and continue connecting the TV to the WiFi

IF the TV fails to connect to the WiFi then it is advisable that you RESET the TV by following the below procedure

Step 1: Press the home button on the TV remote to display the home screen and select SETTINGS

Step 2: Under Settings, select the SYSTEM

Step 3: Under SYSTEM, select ADVANCE SYSTEM SETTINGS

Step 4: Select FACTORY RESET and FACTORY RESET EVERYTHING

Note: If the TV is frozen or not letting you access the Home Screen, simply use the RESET button on the back of the TV which is located just above the USB port. Use a pin and press & hold it for 30-60 seconds for the TV to Reset and Restart

After Resetting, try reconnecting the TV to WiFi following the below procedure…

  1. After you select Set up for home use, the TV prompts you to make a network connection. If your TV has both wired and wireless connections, you’ll see the following screen
  2. Highlight Set up new wireless connection and press OK. The TV prompts you through wireless setup
  3. TV will display the available wireless network. Select the preferred WiFi Network and continue connecting the TV to the WiFi
