How do I scan for channels on my Xumo TV

If you have a TV antenna, you can connect it to your Xumo TV to watch live broadcast channels.

Note: Xumo TV does not support QAM (cable input), you must use an antenna.

When you first set-up your TV, you’ll be prompted to connect an antenna if you have one. If you choose this option, you’ll get step-by-step instructions on your TV screen.

To connect an antenna after you have set up your TV:

  1. Plug your antenna into your TV’s Antenna port
    • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions about where to place your antenna for the best signal
  2. Turn on your TV (if it is off)
  3. Navigate to Settings > Antenna and inputs > Antenna and choose Scan for channels
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions, then select Scan for channels
  5. Wait while your TV scans for channels – this can take several minutes
    • When the channel scan is finished, you’ll see the number of channels that were found
  6. Select Continue
