A: Make sure your power cord is firmly plugged into both back of the TV and the power outlet. Some models have a power switch on the side of the TV; make sure it is in the ON position. If you are trying to turn on your TV using the remote control, make sure you are using new batteries and that they are inserted properly. On universal remote controls, first press the TV button on remote control, and then press the POWER button.
If this doesn’t work, reset all your connections. Power cables or HDMI cables can come slightly loose overtime and lose connection. Start by unplugging the power cable from both the TV and the wall outlet. Next, unplug the HDMI cable from the TV and your media player. Ensure that both are firmly plugged back in; this will reset the connections. You may also try fully unplugging the power from you media player and re-plugging it back in.
